Minimal Maintenance

The pristine appearance of aluplast U-PVC is simply maintained by occasional cleaning with a mild detergent, such as soapy water.

aluplast U-PVC frames never need painting or staining, even when the surface foil is applied to provide a coloured or wood grain effect.

All hardware, gaskets, weather-strips and glazing can be easily replaced without removing the frame from the structure.

Some items of window and door hardware may only need occasional lubrication.

Durability

aluplast U-PVC frames do not rot, rust or corrode and as they do not absorb moisture - they will not warp, twist or split.

‘Impact modified’ aluplast U-PVC is treated with special additives making the material extremely tough and durable.

Insulation and savings

aluplast U-PVC profiles have high thermal and acoustic insulation performance. It can save upto 35% of your energy requirement.

 

  

Combustion Resistant

aluplast U-PVC frames will only burn when subjected to an external heat source and once the source is removed, the flames will self extinguish.

A test by the Fire Research Station showed that aluplast U-PVC windows do not exhibit any aspects of combustion that could create new hazards in fire involving buildings.

Weather Performance

Correctly manufactured and installed aluplast U-PVC windows and doors have excellent weather resistance and will comply with the requirements of all relevant BS standards.
